Lythe Village Hall
Lythe, North Yorkshire

Renovation of the village hall building in order to provide additional services for the community including the provision of a weekly drop-in centre, a lunch club and a range of activities for the whole community.  The facility will then also host a regular local produce and craft fair, a photographic exhibition and will take on a series of projects such as a history research project and the mapping of circular walks in the area.

Cinder Track Improvement Team

The Groundworks run project will provide 6months employment for 24 long term unemployed people who will carry out a range of environmental and conservation improvement works which will improve awareness of, and accessibility to, the track.

On Tour project run by Rural Arts North Yorkshire

The ‘On Tour Scheme’ to bring the arts to rural communities will be extended into East Cleveland and additional programme of support, being provided through training, one to one support networks and improved web based facilities, will be developed to attract and re-engage villages in North Yorkshire.

Rural Community Banking

The aim of the Credit Union is to encourage a saving culture, provide money and debt advice, and access to funds through the establishment of five new rural collection points and a junior saving scheme.  Local volunteers will be trained to run each of the collection points which will be open on a weekly basis.

Coxwold Village Enhancements
