Our SSE Scheme priorities
The North York Moors National Park Small Scale Enhancements Scheme can help communities to deliver projects that focus on the LEADER theme of Conservation and Upgrading of the Rural Heritage. This is aimed at increasing the understanding of our working landscape and helping to protect traditional skills by raising awareness through interpretation, appreciation and maintenance of local heritage and cultural features.
There is also an opportunituy for a small number of projects to be supported under the LEADER theme of Village Renewal and Development. This is aimed at projects that enhance the local village environment, strengthen and generate community cohesion or encourage community events and activities.
If you have a project idea then please complete and submit a Project Idea Form which can be donwloaded from below and return it either by email or post to: North York Moors National Park Authority, The Old Vicarage, Bondgate, Helmsley, York, YO62 5BP.
Eligible and Ineligible Expenditure
Successful projects will be implemented by the North York Moors National Park Authority with responsibility reverting back to the owner once the work has been completed.
