Heritage Conference 2011
The North York Moors, Coast and Hills LEADER programme is involved in an exciting co-operation project with LEADER areas up and down the coast, from North Lincolnshire to Northumberland. The aim of the project is to support and encourage communities to promote and celebrate the heritage of the coast through events, festivals and awareness raising.
The North York Moors, Coast and Hills LEADER Programme in association with the Association for Heritage Interpretation and English Heritage held a heritage conference at Whitby Museum on 10 November 2011. The days programme guided delegates through an introduction to heritage interpretation including writing interpretation, delivering live interpretative events and choosing different types of interpretative media.
