North East Rural Summit, Slaley Hall - November 2010

Tees Valley Rural Community Council in partnership with Durham Rural Community Council and Community Action Northumberland held the North East Rural Summit at Slaley Hall, Northumberland on 23rd November 2010.  We took with us a display of our programme to promote all the successful projects in the East Cleveland area and happened to be next to a rather bare looking Christmas tree so decorated it with our LEADER information!

Rural...Past, Present and Future: Heritage Conference

Duncombe Park was the venue for the Rural...Past, Present and Future heritage conference delivered by English Heritage, the North York Moors National Park Authority and the LEADER programme.  The event was designed for all those with an interest in local community heritage and combined a programme of formal presentations, practical activities and group sessions.  Over the two days delegates also had the opportunity to discuss projects they were involved in, and provide one another with useful tips.
